I am a photographer in Greensboro who loves the carolinas, creating beautiful portrait Art and most of all, photographing families just like yours!

hello!

welcome to the blog

let's get personal

We are in the new generation of the most photographed people of all time. We have, quite literally, millions of snapshots on our phones. However, snapshots and portraits are very different from one another. The snaps we take of our every-day lives are extremely important to help remind us of that incredible trip, the first lost tooth, and the individual moments of our lives. However, to get the full breadth and meaning of your life’s legacy would be to relive every moment of your life’s snapshots.

So, why the need for portraits? There once was a wise English idiom, “A picture is worth a thousand words”. This is the concept that a complex idea can be conveyed through a single image, expressing the meaning or essence more effectively than a long description can. In that same way, a single well-crafted portrait from our studio can convey more than a thousand snapshots on your phone. Our portraits are meant to hang proudly on your wall, showing the value and meaning of your family – to your family – and the world around you.

When you place value and meaning into something, like art, you give it a home in your world to become something more than what could ever be described with words. We understand that, and this is why we treat every piece we create with expert precision, coloring, detail, composition, lighting and more, to create a true piece of art meant to withstand the test of time.
